Outdoor gazebos can be made out of aluminum, wood, vinyl and almost any combination of those three. The roofs of these gazebos can also be made out of the aforementioned materials, with the addition of tin and canvas. Tin roofs (like aluminum roofs) are inexpensive and can look modern. Canvas roofs are often the least sturdy of the materials, but shouldn’t be a problem unless you live around too many trees. Canvas roofs are easy to replace and can be made in a variety of colors and can be waterproofed. At any rate, your outdoor gazebo should reflect the outdoors in which it is situated. It needs to be a strong as the strongest wind that affects your area and as beautiful as its natural surroundings.

Having an outdoor gazebo is akin to adding an extra room onto your house, but without the cost of renovations. It can be an extra recreational, relaxation, or entertaining room depending on your needs.

Outdoor Gazebo Bar

In addition to a grill or refrigerator, a bar can also be added to your gazebo to enhance taking what is usually indoors to the outdoors. Any plans for building a bar should work in a gazebo, provided the measurements may have to be scaled down. The bar should also not look out of place in your gazebo, so it should be made out of the same or similar materials as the construction of your gazebo, unless you go for a stainless steel counter/bar. In addition, the placement of your bar within the gazebo should be as important as the gazebo itself. You will probably not want the bar to take up that much space since it probably won’t be in use all of the time, so putting it off to one side where it isn’t blocking any of your natural view is the best choice for the placement.

Outdoor Wedding Gazebos

Wedding gazebos are a more elegant alternative to a tent or canopy, which still providing the same shelter. Almost any gazebo can be made into an outdoor wedding gazebo with the addition of some pretty fabric woven through the latticework or plants draped elegantly from the roof. Portable wedding gazebos may also be rented if they are only needed for a day, but they may not be as fancy looking as a more permanent counterpart. A permanent outdoor gazebo can be a reminder of the special day and built to last as long as a marriage.
